Welcome to our VRBO property! We put a lot of TLC into making this place feel like home during your time in Denali. Here's your online tour of our special little rental.
Isn't she a beauty!!? We were so lucky to purchase this home in 2015. Our rental property - The Hideaway - includes the two windows above the garage. (Those are the bedrooms!) We don't offer garage parking for guests - the weather is so nice here in the summer, you won't need it! And in the winter, we allow guests to plug in their car on cold nights. (Most rental cars come equipped ready to help with this winter Alaskan necessity!)
To enter the rental, you'll walk along the right side of the garage and we have a sweet little entrance just for you! While our rental IS a part of our home, you have private access to where you stay! You'll enter through our garage, and straight into your cozy stay during your time in our fine National Park.
Upon entering, there's a small entryway. Please remove your hiking boots, rainboots, flip flops or ExtraTuffs - we are a shoe-free home! This is a cultural norm in our area, and we appreciate you making yourself at home here in this way.
Now onto the fun stuff!! Our living room area in our rental is the sweetest. We updated the furniture in 2019 and are always working to improve. There are two sofas, a small dining table and a coffee station + a mini fridge, microwave, toaster and more to make a convenient breakfast or lunch on the go. Please note our property does not have a full kitchen.
Bedroom number one - both of our bedrooms lead directly off of our living space. This room has a queen bed and reading chair, perfect for relaxing after a long day hiking.
Bedroom number two is perfect for the kiddos! With two twin beds, this room has plenty of room to sleep and room to stretch out too! Located just off of the living space, each bedroom has it's own locking door + windows (with room darkening shades for the Alaskan midnight sun) to make each guest feel comfortable.
And last but not least, of course you have your own bathroom!! The first photo in this gallery shows the two entrances to the bedrooms, as taken from the dining table. You and your ENTIRE guest party will be plenty comfortable in our rental property.
