Denali Hideaway opened in 2017, and since then we've hosted hundreds of guests and have received over 175 five star reviews!! We love helping to make your trip to Denali National Park, Alaska memorable. You can book your stay at Denali Hideaway online through VRBO.

 

Denali Hideaway is located a half mile off of the Parks Highway, nestled in the small town of Healy, just 11 miles north of Denali National Park. Our breathtaking, beautiful Alaskan home is an excellent retreat after a long day of adventuring in Alaska's Interior. We are available year round for guests to book! Winter reservations do not book out as far in advance, but summer reservations tend to book out at least 9 months in advance. The Hideaway is a two bedroom, one bathroom residence attached to our family home. Denali Hideaway is completely private, with an entrance of its own. It comfortably sleeps four with a queen bed and two twin beds, full bath, living room with a mini-fridge, microwave and other small kitchen appliances to make your stay more enjoyable. We do not offer a full kitchen or guest outdoor recreational space.

 

 

Meet Dakota & Kami MacIver - your hosts at Denali Hideaway! Both Kami & Dakota are lifelong Alaskans. We are high school sweethearts who settled down in their hometown to raise a family of their own. Our growing family enjoys many of Alaska's abundant resources such as: fishing in south central Alaska, subsistence hunting and gathering berries in the fall, and managing a trapline in the winter. We also enjoy camping, taking out our ATV, and coaching youth hockey in the winter. We are also active members of our local church and enjoy volunteering there too. Kami will be your main contact and she LOVES sharing about all things Denali!! (Hi, it's me!!)

 

 

Entering the Hideaway, we have a cute little living room and dining area. There's plenty of room to relax after a long day of exploring Denali! There are two sofas, a small dining table and a coffee station + a mini fridge, microwave, toaster and more to make a convenient breakfast or lunch on the go. Please note our property does not have a full kitchen.

 

 

Both of our bedrooms at the Hideaway lead directly off of the living space. The first room has a queen bed and reading chair, perfect for relaxing after a long day hiking. The second room has two twins - perfect for the kiddos! With two twin beds, this room has plenty of room to sleep and room to stretch out too! Each bedroom has its own locking door + windows (with room darkening shades for the Alaskan midnight sun) to make each guest feel comfortable.
